Wintessa was one of our first foals, and has grown to exceed our expectations. She received a score of 7.3 at her studbook inspection. She was performance tested in 2005, and recieved her Elite status with a score of 8 for rideability. With outstanding conformation, an incredible work ethic and three very good gaits, she has been an excellent producer of modern sport horses.

Her sire Winterprinz brings in modern dressage lines. Weltmeyer, who has produced over 85 licensed sons and over 370 state premium mares, ranked 4th for dressage in the 2005 German Hanoverian breeding index. He was also Hanoverian Horse of the Year in 1998. Warkant, Winterprinz’s sire, ranks 12th and was Hanoverian Horse of the year in 2002.

Winterprinz, who stands at Yara Yara Ranch in California, was the champion of the Dressage portion of his 100 day Stallion Performance Testing in Medigan Germany. In 2003 Winterprinz was 4th level USDF horse of the year with a Median Score of 70.00%. In 2004 he was Horse of the Year Prix St. George USDF with a Median score of 72.125%
